History
Founded in 1996 by Gerald and Joanne Epperson, inside a century-old brick building which formerly housed a Nash Car Dealership. Located in historic downtown Crockett, California, the building is home to the Gallery, seven artists’ studios and four businesses, including Sugar City Tattoo.
The Epperson Gallery has hosted a wide range of exhibitions, which highlighted Northern California Plein Aire and Mixed Media Artists and regional history.
Joanne Epperson passed away unexpectedly in 2020. The mark she has left on the evolution of the Gallery and the community of Artists in this building is indelible. She is unforgettable and greatly missed.
