This is a 4-artist event, called Best of Show, as all 4 of these artists are award winning painters, whether plein air, or studio work.   Linda won 3 awards at the Frank Bette Alamada Plein Air Juried Competition, last July. (2009)  Cindy has won the Vasari Award at the Impressionist National Show this year and both Leslie and Rolando are past winners of the Valona Paintouts in 2008 and 2009. 

 

This will be the first time these four artists will be showing together at the Epperson Gallery, in Crockett, Calif.  In fact, Linda just won Best of Show at the Glendale Centennial Paintout, February, 2010.  A painting partner of Linda's, Cindy was also juried in at the Frank Bette Center for the Arts in Alameda Paintout.  Cindy teaches every September on Catalina Island.   While both Linda and Cindy come from Arizona, they both spend a lot of time painting the beautiful scenery of California.
